Coach Jarrod Castrejon

Jarrod started his baseball career on the Pony Fields in Ramona, CA. It was on those fields, with his closest friends that Jarrod fell in love with the game. Jarrod later went on to play travel ball, competitive high school ball for Ramona and then on to play at the collegiate level for Palomar Junior College in San Diego and Concordia University in Oregon.

Jarrod eventually found his way back to Ramona and became an assistant coach to the Varsity Baseball Team at Ramona High School, where he continues to coach during the spring. In 2022, Jarrod started JC Baseball Academy in order to give back to his community and to help young athletes reach their greatest potential. Jarrod has been coaching athletes in a variety of ways for 10+ years, watching some reach D1 College and professional baseball.

Jarrod, his wife, daughter and dog live in Rancho Bernardo. Jarrod loves cheering on his San Diego Padres, playing golf, and going to the beach with his family.
